Advanced Variable Speed Drives

Introduction

Electric Motors & Drives course delivers an interactive training experience Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting to help the attendance to understand how electrical motors and drives work with each other and other systems and how to make maintenance to Electrical Motors and Drives. The attendance will be able to identify the Troubleshooting of Electrical Motors and Drives. Learn how to match the system components to their respective applications and about the safety considerations associated with operating electromechanical systems and variable speed drive maintenance.

Objectives

    • Correct operation of AC motor
    • Maintenance of Electrical Motors and Drives
    • Identify and correct performance of drive system problems
    • Troubleshooting of electrical motors and drives

Training Methodology

This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.

Who Should Attend?

Electric power engineers and advanced operating staff.
